The canopy is made in a timber structural system and a skin of polycarbonate sheet . The canopy tries to maintain a particular aesthetic with simple halved joinery between timber rafters .This flowing canopy design for a cafe was inspired by the energy of visitors continually arriving and departing. A modeling software was used to slice the fluid form into sequential sections for the fabricator to shape the canopy.
